Hello everyone, I'm new in this forum and new bike owner.

Last year I bought a K1100RS 1990 and it burned down. I found a broken from K100LT 1989 and replaced everything. Little did I know that it was different, my K1100 had an oxygen sensor and the K100LT had MAF. After i fitted everything together my bike will start on cold and after I turn it off it wont start unless i let it sit for 30/40 min, and when I crank it will smell of fuel. I searched on forums and based on the suggestions I've replaced/refurbished follow components. 

New: Spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, water temperature sensor, Hall sensor, ignition coils.
Refurbished: fuel injectors.
Replaced from my friends K100RS 1984 the ECU (grey box) and MAF and still the same problem, Also at my MAF I tried to turn the gear clock-wise to make it run leaner. So far nothing has fixed the problem.

Valve clearance is as following (it's 16 valve):
Top: 0.15|0.15, 0.15|0.15, 0.15|0.15, 0.15|0.15
Bottom: 0.30|0.30, 0.30|0.30, 0.20|0.20, 0.30|0.30,

I've also placed an order for the pressure regulator which is supposed to arrive in a couple of weeks.

Can you please be precise about what configuration you are currently running on your bike?
K100 has a L Jetronic, K1100 a Motronic.
These are completely different injection systems. BTW, K100 and K1100 are almost completely different bikes, they don't have even 5% of their parts in common.

Thanks for the reply, My engine and transmission is K1100 everything else is now k100 or L Jetronic, including throttle bodies and wiring.
