I was also terying to download the manual (my bike: '89 K 100 LT) - and getting this message that I haven't been "granted special access". What exactly do I need to GET that access??? (or even simpler - just download the damned manual, access or no access)

Thanks for your reply and kind instructions. Those 'here you go' words did not look like a link in my browser (not underlined), so I kept clicking on that 'LOL!' emoticon instead waiting for something to happen

Where in the forum is best to post that introduction? I landed here after typing 'bmw k 100 repair manual' in Google, thus without much knowledge about the rest of the forum. Didn't want to look impolite, after all, I ride BMW like all of us here, not Harley
