1 Centre stand clunk Fri Aug 19, 2011 8:02 pm

Hello all
I have an annoying problem (apart from the mother in law, that's fixable).
My center stand doesn't seem to connect with the rubber bumper underneath the exhaust pipe. I out a new bumper one on, but neither the side stand or center stand seem to sit on it. The problem is a "clunk" from below when I go over a bump or around left hand corners with my knee on the road. (That is a joke if you have seen me ride). The stand hits the lower side of my exhaust.
Any solutions? I cannot see any way to adjust the stand/s to move them sideways. The noise is worse double up when the suspension is asked to work on bumps or corners. I thought I could put an old rubber shoe sole down there, but might not look so good. Or smell so good.
