after removing the clutch release lever , then the spring , there is no leak .



after removing the pressure piston and then the bearing, a steady flow of gearbox oil dripped out .
Is this normal please ? I was not expecting this from reading Clymer and from watching the video posted by Bert in Tutorial,output shaft seal replacement.

Can't see pictures, but sounds right to me. The gearbox oil also lubricates the pushrod bearing.

Good job on pointing this service bulletin.
I did read it but totally forgot about the implication of a bad setup of the clutch cable (I always set mine as per BMW recommendation).
I am getting old.... I cannot remember what I post.
If you read, understand and remember everything that has been written or posted on this forum, you could apply to be a K specialist at a BMW dealer.
