Whooo Hoooo...... finally got myself a set of 3 spokers . I hope no one else was eyeing these off. 
Saw them last night on flea with the option of buy or bid .
 I figured the bids would probably go higher than the buy price so I procrastinated as long as I could and hit the button . 



Now to get them home, hopefully I'll grab them when visiting the Sydeney guys for coffee. is there anyone in the area of Chipping Norton or Hilltop who could hold on to them till I get there? Thanks , Ed.

Rear wheel




front wheel

The rear wheel is a 3.00 x 17 Type A so is a K1100 LT wheel which will sit 14 mm to the left. I am currently investigating the machining of those to see if they can be fitted to a monolever and sit centre.
The front is a K1100 wheel and will need to be fitted with the K1100 305mm discs and the 41.7mm forks and 4 pot calipers etc etc. To be quite honest Ed they probably aren't worth it and as they were advertised for a K75/K100 then you have good reason to get the money back as they never came on either.
The K75s had 3 spoke wheels but were not the same as those and are the right ones to get. The front will take the 285mm discs and the rear will have type B stamped on it.
The 3 spoke wheels that TWB and Charlie have are the K100RS 16v but only the rear so as to fit a radial and they still sit 14 mm to the left.

Rick, I'm certain that this is the chap who was selling off a lot of 100RS stuff a few months back. i'm hoping that these rims suit.

I saw the add Ed and he said he bought them for a project and has since changed the ideas so doesn't need them and he may not even know that they don't fit a K100 with a monolever rear end.
Those wheels are from a K1100LT.  The K1100LT is the only model that had those size wheels.
If you want 3 spoke wheels the K75s wheels are the way to go IF you can find any. Even then you will need deep pockets.

If you fit the right front end and the paralever drive you may as well get the RS wheels and the wider radial tyres which make it a different bike.

To further it, the front 3 spoke wheel I have on my OZ RS is an 18" from a K75S which, as many agree, will bolt right on brakes and all with no dramas as it uses the four bolt pattern and not the 'floating' points of the later 305mm discs. Mind, I've added larger brake discs (292mm) from a Suzuki with an aluminium spacer behind, but the OEM 285mm discs fit straight on.

Not sure Ed. Will have a look at the numbers this arvo.
I have two 3 spoke rears. One is the 4.5 and one is the 3. I don't have a front, but looking at my RS there is no way th front would fit the basic

Yup agree with Rosskko , the front wheel should be one that uses 4 bolts to retain the discs I think

He's full of it Ed the K1200 5.5 rim wont even go close to fitting into a K100 even without a tyre just tell him to refund you.

I concur, a 5.5" from a K1200GT (not a 5" from a K1200RS or LT) will not fit on a Monolever K100 when even a 4.5" 3 spoke K1100RS wheel has an extremely tight fit. A K1200RS/LT 5" wheel will fit a Paralever with a 2mm spacer but with an offset from centre - but only with a 170/60 tyre. The 180/55ZR17 doesn't with enough room.

basically , 2.5x18 front off a K75S with a 4.5x18 rear off a K100 16v or a K1100 , this combo will let you fit up a 110/80/18 front with a 160/60/18 rear , I'm running Michelin PR3's at the moment , I've found that the offset to the left on the rear has not affected the handling in any way that I can detect

yeah best to just get the refund ed .

the 3 inch rear would be useable but is a big price for just 1 rim ( and not much bigger in width )

the 90-93 s version of the k75 3 spoke is going to be hard to find out here ...but not impossible    don't give up mate

motor works list such a devil   WHK10734 (also the wrong picture )  in their used parts ...at 170 pounds  that's 300 and something aussie dollars + plus shipping  and that isnt cheap nowadays

best to troll and save a search in ebay maybe ? 
id be quessing that usa might have a fair chance of a hit sooner than most others,  although there are some interesting surprises in Europe time to time

Tis almost time to cancel my purchase , I had a query today from an in law , will the rear K1100 3 spoke wheel from this set fit the rear of an R1100RS?

The R1100RS has the 18 x 4.5 which is the same as the K1100RS

thanks to everyone , I've posted a message back to Steve requesting a refund . I hope he has a more positive response next time they are listed.
As for myself it has been a lesson learnt . It is very much appreciated the info provided here on the forum, a shame to miss out, not to worry, I'll continue to keep an eye peeled.
