Just because they are referred to as 'bricks' does not mean you have to incorporate them into your design.

Mine looks a bit wide but it is a narrow body.

We sidecarists all have different ideas on set up and, generally they all work.

My preference is for 1½" to 1¾" for 'toe-in'. 
On testing, if it steers to the right with hands off, then reduce the 'toe-in'; conversely, if it steers to the left, increase the 'toe-in'. 

Sidecar wheel lead can be anything from about 8" to 15". The lower figure will assist left handers while the higher figure improves right handers. 
If the lead is too short the sidecar nose will tend to dip on right handers which, in turn, tends to lift the bike's back wheel.
If the lead is too long, then the sidecar tyre needs to scrub on left handers so the steering will be heavy, particularly when the chair is loaded.
In many cases the lead is dictated by the aesthetic positioning of the sidecar body with respect to the bike.  

Lean-out, in my opinion, is mainly cosmetic, about 1", say, at the handlebar height, but I never like to see lean-in.  

Well that's how I do it and it works for me, but if you go by the maxim "if it looks right, then it probably is right", you won't be far out.

Thanks  . That's pretty much what I have come up with from my research . Rossko its a ten brick, 3 out of sight behind the wheel and the red brick standing up. That's 10 out of 10 , can't beat that.

If you can afford it, what Sidecar Paul has not added is that a leading link front end will improve handling considerably. His avatar has one fitted (I think?).
