New to me 87 K75. When sitting still, locking the front brake and sharply pressing down on the handle bars to compress the front suspension, the bike immediatly rebounds with a few cyclic bounces before it settles down. Seems like the front fork is not providing any return dampening.
I haven't had anything older than a 95 BMW in a long time, so everything I have ridden since 1997 when I got my first Oil Head (R1100RS) has had Paralever/telelever, with the expected excellent anti-dive and jounce damping.
when I mentioned this to the prior owner,......he seemed bewildered and stated that he had recenly changed the fork oil.
