Although not the most popular conversion, for those who have been following I am doing a Cafe conversion an a horribly abused (PO not me) K1100. I'm looking for rear sets because stock is a little clunky for what I am going for. I'm not worried about making a bracket for the muffler as I know that might be a problem, but are there any recommendations for something streamlined and lightweight? Thanks!

Send a message to Rjtrucker.
From memory he has some rear sets. Dont think he wants to part twith them or if they fit a 1100, but he should be able to give you some hints on where to look.

And any number of contributors will follow this up with a list of their own.

Raask used to make a set for the K. I know they are a bit pricey...over £200.

Get onto Two Wheels Better I think he had a set for a K100 which would fit a K1100.

The Raask set I had got sold off on eBay a coupla years ago. BMW still offer the factory set for an arm, two legs and a golden egg. Look in ETK.
It's not hard to fab up some simple joints and levers from other brands' bits if you've the time, skill and a mate with a lathe.

86 Euro.
I was watching those. Not sure if I would use them but it would be a nice experiment.
