Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie to the BMW biking fraternity. My last bike was / is a ZX10 and the one before that was a GSXR1100. I've always wanted a BMW bike and bought a K100 RS (1985) yesterday!

I also have a BMW 530i V8, which I love!

Can anyone help me with a free manual to download? Or do I have to buy one?

Looking forward to being a member of this forum!

Mike

Thanks very much for the replies. I'm not very computer literate (normally the wife does this for me), so please explain about forum mail? Otherwise I can just post it here?

I;m sure I'm going to have lots of questions for you all!

hi mike...... welcome aboard

no dont post your email address in here ....it will be visibile to everybody.... for all time

there is a little icon near the bottom of the "post" that nino made ....with "pm" inside the box

meaning "private mail"

which starts a sort of email system without giving detaills ....whatever you put in there is hiden from the rest of the world , sorta thing .

just do what seems sensible and it will be all good .

cheers

I just love the work you've done.
Question: How did you manage to match the paint color (Baja red)?
