Hi guys
Have just bought a '90 K100 RS, and found this forum while doing a bit of research.
I have had a couple of Rice-burners and then migrated to Beemers: F650 Fundoro (on which I did 105 000 km), 1980 R80GS, and before my (now newly acquired) K100, I also had an R1150GS. So far my favourite was the R80 - I hope the K100 will better it!
I am looking to do some mods to it, but to try and do them as "bolt-on", mostly aesthetic so as to make the bike more unique. Perhaps I can get some guidance on the forum once I have a clearer idea as to what it is I want to do to the bike.
Cheers,
Big G

Well done Big G - you finally got sense and bought a brick!!

Give yourself a couple of hundred KMS on it and you'll start to appreciate it, after a couple of thousand KMs you won't ever want to change it!

To paraphrase the late Leonard Nimoy, aka Spock....Ride long and prosper!

I had an R80RT but it didn't take long for the brick to take favourite status.
