Hi All, New to the forum and wanted to introduce myself.
I don't own a full BMW K1100 from 1993, but i do own the majority of it.
I recently bought a Grinnall Scorpion which is powered by the flying brick.
I look forward to seeking out advice from all of you to help me keep the engine going and this unique vehicle on the road.

I'm based in Cheshire, UK, 36 (soon) and have some mechanical knowledge, but pictures always help me best ;-)

The day I bought my K100RT I also called to someone near him....and this 'shed' had a collection of Moto Guzzis to give Dai palpitations........ and a K1100 Scorpion. Very impressive indeed.

Back to Swiftryanswift , 
issues I have had apart from servicing were that I replaced the driveshaft , replaced the complete clutch , spent a long time chasing a weird misfire on fast left handers which turned out to be bad hoses on the low pressure side of the main pump , pinholes in the alloy fuel tank along the seam welds and some tidying up of front suspension ball joints when I also slotted the lower wishbone to give me camber adjustment ....... Its never left me stranded and always gets a positive reaction wherever I go , apart from being f***ed over by the Irish revenue commissioners when I imported it from the UK I still love it dearly

We have a K meet up on next Saturday 26th at Stradbally Fayre, 11am. Why don't you bring the Scorpion along? 

Its also a belated Christmas Brunch so there is Christmas pudding being served!!!
