Hello all,
Last summer, a friend gave me (well, actually gave my 15-yo son) a 1991 BMW K100LT.
It has 70k miles and has been sitting outside for the last 10 years. According to the previous owner, it was a daily driver until the day it was parked.
Armed with a Clymer manual, years of fixing honda singles, and few years driving, troubleshooting, and maintaining an '86 Audi 5000s - we are diving in!
My son is DETERMINED to make this his 'first car.' I'm inclined to fund the project, as he is learning a lot. So we're documenting our progress, and learning a lot along the way.
