Hi Guys
I'm a lifelong Scottish biker, having had various BMWs over the years. I usually have between 4 and 6 bikes, including at least one BM. Currently have 2 - ish - a 1984 R80G/S and a Grinnall Scorpion 3 with BMW k100 (8 valve drivetrain). I've lived in France for over 8 years.
Cheers, Wizzard

Welcome.....

Grinnal Scorpions seem to be coming out of the woodwork. I have seen 2 in the flesh in the last 4 months, but 16 valve engines. Very impressed with them.

Don't be too worried about a K100ish. Hover K100 over here as a K100ish too......it powers his hovercraft.

88KE and myself were in France in May and met a fellow K owner Bikerboy [and Jude].

Delighted to see you and its a great forum. Anything you need to know will be here somewhere....and everyone is very helpful.

Would really like to see some pics of your Grinnall Scorpion 3 and how its set up with the K100 donk.
I'm a little familiar with the Morgan 3 wheeler having assisted my ex-father-in-law at a few vintage race meets. Got to drive it around the pits a few times. A different breed to the Grinall I know but the configuration is fasinating.

Cheers and welcome to the show.

Hi Rick
The Scorpys are great fun, and affordable in terms of the power/fun/resale value stakes.

I've been in France a long time so I've no contacts for finding bikes in the UK now. Sorry.
Cheers, Wizzard
