After 3 and a half years on my Ducati 939 Supersport, a year before that on my Ducat 848, I am returning to BMW. I bought my first new R75/7 when I was just 18 in 1977, I am now about to buy a new R1250RS and I am 62. Many on here know me as I have had a number of bricks, the last being a K100RS 16v, lovely bike, but heavy and tall.
The R1250RS has 136 bhp and more toys than anyone needs, it even shows me the GPS turns on the large screen that is the speedo, from my phone. At 242 kgs it is a bit heavier than the Ducati, but more comfortable for my sternum after the heart op.
