Has anyone dropped the gearbox with the swingarm attached?
I’ve pulled the RH fixed pivot but the LH adjustable has locked solid about half way out. I’ve epoxied a lock nut onto the shaft and waiting for that to set overnight to see if it will shift with a socket (already stripped out the 6mm allen hole).
If I cant move it in the morning I need to get it on the bench. Is it possible to drop the tranny with the RH lug removed?
I’ve tried all the normal routes, heat, vice grips, double locking nuts etc.
My last, in situ, shot is to drill the stub and run a bolt through it but very reluctant to do that and destroy whats left of what can be gripped
