My k100 started leaking oil from the sump a few weeks ago. It was put off and then on Saturday last week the sump started chucking it out.
So the sump lid was pulled off and three bolts just fell out. So it was cleaned up three bonded then had the garage helicoil the threads.
However on one the tap snapped. Which we can't seem to get out and it's not sealing anymore.
So as I can't think of anyway to hold it on thinking of replacing the sump.
Just wondered if anyone has any idea of holding the sump on to seal the gap.
Or does anyone know what parts Ill need if I replace the sump. This obviously means removing the shaft and final drive. To get at the bolts behind the clutch and removing the water pump.
