G'day Webster , long term use of a fitted bike cover can cause cosmetic damage to your machine , I used one for 6 months when I toured overseas , lots of paint damage on edges were the cover rubbed , for home use why not try something like this

Maybe a professional product tester or obsessive consumer will be able to answer your question. I can't. Smile

I use a Nelson-Rigg Falcon Defender 2000 partly because of its bold and exciting name but mostly because it was the first one I bought from a local vendor and it was satisfactory. The section that covers a windscreen is lined with soft material. It is lined to protect itself from the hot muffler and exhaust pipe. It has a broad reflective panel around it.

Although it is ventilated, condensation sometimes can form on the seat and instrument cluster windows. Parking on gravel, grass or dirt seems to promote that. With your bike's fairing and bags, I recommend their largest—2XL—believe it or not. Their XL cover is tight front-to-back on my naked K75 with OEM side cases, and extends to just cover the footpegs, front axle, and rear side cases. Find dimensions at Revzilla.

My bike is parked out in the weather and ridden daily. I bring the cover with me when I ride long distance. It is sold with a compression sack but I just roll it up. I use this cover daily, five months a year during riding season. I replace it after a few seasons.

There's two companies I know of that make this type of cover.  A bit on the spendy side but they look very convenient.
