So far so good it is smaller than most K100s have but they go well in a K1100

I've been using the yellow Motobatt in my OZ RS for eight years now. They often sit for a year uncharged between uses. I paid AU$115 for each of them. The first one went a year, then sat for two years unused and lasted another year beyond that. Recently, Charlie99 has kept the current one going while I'm away. It, too, sat unused for two years but came back to life and with a low amp recharge and is still going. I bought it in early 2016. Multi-post choices make them ideal for many applications. These are the physically smaller version such as go in K11, Oilheads and later Airheads, and fit the K75/100 two-step aluminium tray perfectly.

I needed a battery for my K100LT in the west of Ireland on a summer bank holiday weekend. Not a chance. But a lawnmower shop sorted me out nicely.

A few years later I needed a battery for my K100RT. On my way to a dealer I was passing my local lawnmower shop and decided to pop in. Sorted 32Ah battery for €52.

Last November Will Crean needed a battery for a K1....not having much luck I directed him to my local lawnmower shop as he was on his way for dinner. Sorted.

Moral of the story, go to lawnmower shop.....or one that supplies batteries for golf buggies.

As far as I know, all Motobatt batteries are yellow.  Motobatt # MB51814 seems to be a popular size for BMWs of various models. I'm planning to put one in my K1100LT for the upcoming riding season, as the bike arrived here with a Odysse battery of unknown vintage.  It presently starts the bike immediately, but a dead battery on tour will really spoil the day(s).

I have a Panasonic AGM and its been fantastic, came with the bike that I got 5 years go and no issues so far.
