Hello K-100 riders and enthusiasts,
I'm the new owner of a 1990 BMW K100 rs 16v abs thats been left for dead( i figured it was a perfect project? Thats what i told the mistress atleast...) This is the first time ive added a second bike to my garage. Before this I would sell one before i bought a new one. So the K100 is a first for me, oh how sweet I think it will eventually be. My daily driver will continue to be a 1971 CB 750 flat tracker while I try my best at a restoration/back yard build of the K100. Ive checked online for which manual to get, Haynes or Clymer, and found that for some reason the 1990 rs 16v isn't included in some of the manuals that include most of the other K100's of that era. Any recommendations on manuals so I can become more acquainted with the guts of this treasure of a machine.
Looking forward to chatting with all the people out there that have caught the K100 bug like myself. I can't get over the rugged yet polished appeal this bike has with (and without) its fairings.
Cheers,
Cam
