Svlwolf are you thinking of making it a fixed fairing or using the nose like the cockpit screen or cowling on the naked models IE fixed to the headlight and binnacle ?

welcome aboard svl
yes some of us have cut the fairings length back a bit so not so much protection around the knees area ....could that be more like getting rid of the interference to the knees trying to get back into a good riding position and constantly poking the knee caps or catching them at least ...hurts as well
but that fairing looks to be raised a fair bit in height to fit the higher bars ?
the tree (metal frame ) that supports the fairing would need to be modified to suit ...perhaps they have used a rt tree instead of an rs tree to gain the height ?
the rs fairing does sit a fair bit lower than all the rest by about 3-4 inches .
have a similar thought in mind for a future project
cheers

Thanks for the input, not sure but the gray bike has an aftermarket fairing on it, but dont want to spend that cash
Also am wanting to move my front fender (mud guard) up about a couple of inches, how can I accomplish that with std forks
Charlie 99 what were you thinking??
