Hey all, can I use 7/8th size bars on the K or do they have to 22mm?

They have to be 22mm otherwise your switchgear won't fit Handlebar Size... 112350

You can use 7/8" if you sand off the chrome layer where the controls go.  Or you can enlarge the hole on the controls but then they will not fit 22mm bars again.  Better to do the former than the latter.

Did a little of both. The bars where powder/plastic coated so I sanded them back to the wood, and got the dermal on the switchgear. The biggest issue was the throttle, had to mill out a couple of points to get a nice smooth action. The clutch side needed nothing but a spirited approach to fitting Wink

I have 7/8 ally clip-ons on mine and had to do a lot of bar sanding. Very time consuming.
