Having trouble sussing this one out maybe someone can help? Three Q's for the price of One sorry folks!

I have an aftermarket headlight fitted which has a main and dip beam function with two individual aligned headlights (spotlight style)

Within the nacelle part of the light there are four wire cables two with plugs and two without.

The 1st plug is an Orange in colour with a green/black, a brown, a yellow and grey/black wires attached.
The 2nd is a Green in colour with green/black, brown, black and grey/black wires attached.
The 3rd wire is a single black wire that has been tucked in with no connector attached.
The 4th set of wires are brown and black and are if I am correct (and thank you Inge K for this info) for the ABS switch.

All wires come from under the tank between the fork stanchions along the main loom.

I am also trying to fit a permanent live riding/parking light that works in conjunction with the tail light that comes on with the switch in position 1 also ...any ideas will one of these wires be one ?

I also have the permanent red triangle alight in the dash will this go out when the ABS has travelled the distance or is it possibly a light fault?

Have looked at various wire diagrams and cannot fathom these out.

Any help much appreciated.

1 & 2: Connectors for additional instruments.
3: no idea.
4: probably ABS switch, if one brown wire and one black wire.

Front park lamp: search for a grey/white wire.

Constant red triangle light: check tail light, brake light and both brake light switches.

Many thanks.

So it it's just that stray black wire to work out then.

What additional instruments can be plugged into those connectors then?  Just curious.

Non genuine then, a genuine ground wire would have been brown.

Or is it the one that was later fitted to the right grip? On my bike that's a black one, but original BMW.

Englishstiv, check that you have a black wire at the screw (#25) in the drawing.

(also check the other screws at the housing/clamp, this wire could have been moved around a bit during the years).

The reason for this ground wire was that it was some issues with front brake light switches that shorted to ground.
The current did seek its way to ground via the throttle cable, which then get warm and start to bind.

Many thanks yet again the wire length appears to be just about right and I assume was detached when they changed the handle bars over, looks like that is that one sorted still no trace of the wires for the park / daylight riding light yet.
