How's it going guys? I recently picked up a 1990 k100 LT from fellow forum member albyalbatross1. He's done an excellent job of maintaining the bike as well as adding a few extra features and all in all I seem to have gotten a great deal! 

As the subject line may have given away, I recently moved to the small country town of Condamine in Queensland Australia. Due to this I picked up a 45 minute commute along country roads to get to work in nearby chinchilla. This is the bulk of my riding and the k100 (aka Günter) handles it with ease. 

Had a bit of a lurk around the forum before signing up and it seems to be a wealth of knowledge I look forward to taking full advantage of!

having spent some time lurking here, you will be aware of the May ride to Nindigully , out St George way, a short ride for you.
I'm sure there will be no shortage of invites to any new K 's, especially one from the fine stables of Alby and Nic.
I'm out for the Nindi ride ,but look forward to a meet sometime , 
I'm sure you will enjoy the info and banter here, can be a bit Knutty at times.

Haha how'd you guess Rick? The bike's been great so far, it's obvious Alby has taken great care of it. Pretty keen for a big ride soon but I've just moved house so it's hard to find the time :-(
