G'day Fellow K Riders, Sorry but this topic has been covered before but clarification is needed.The Munich Motorcycles handbook says the amount of oil in a K75S (93 model) is 330ml each leg.The Haynes manual says 280ml is the required quantity for a model with the 'S' suspension. When the oil was pumped out using Rickmeister "sucker', the quantity was 280ml. The suspension seemed a bit on the soft side.
Thank you in advance for your words of wisdom. Cheers Tom

93 = Showa = 410 per side

Be careful not to over-tighten the drain bolts when them putting it back in.  9 Nm.  They will strip the threads in the fork lower if you use too much torque.

Thanks for the table Rick. 410ml is firmly etched into my senior's brain...
Also spoke to Munich in Perth who were not aware that Showa forks were in use.  Cheers Tom

Make sure you check for the "S" stamped into the top plug on the forks. If you put 410ml in an "S" fork it will rattle your teeth out.

Thanks Rick, could not see an 'S' stamp/mark anywhere on the top of the forks.Just pushing them up and down with wheel locked seemed to be huge improvement.Cheers TomFork Oil Change Icon_lol

Small thread hijack:  Rick's table above says 350/400 for K1100 forks and 400/400 if disassembled.  I took the forks off my bike and fully emptied them by turning upside down and letting them drain.  But I didn't totally disassemble them.  Does that count as "disassembled" for the purpose of refilling?
