I've been in the garage late in the day when time permits, finishing the paint job on my K1100. This afternoon a guy dropped in asking if I could help him with a problem he has with his new to him, Hunter Spyder. Sounds like a stuffed battery to me but later, I went and looked up these Hunter motorcycles and apparently they are Ozzie designed, Chinese manufactured and Ozzie assembled. All new to me.

He has one of these things. A 350 water cooled, EFI chopper, Spyder.

All models seem to be aimed at new riders as they all seem to be LAMS approved.

Has anyone else come across these before?

Never seen one but I notice it says never conform but get one of these which is essentially the same as the next, then wear a pirate rag and get some tats to be an individual, oh yes don't forget the very expensive shades.
Why am I reminded of "The life of Brian" where all the idiots running round with a shoe on a stick saying "we are individuals".

Seen them at the Sydney motorcycle show, seen some ads, they have featured on that great TV masterpiece (  ) Housos as the bikes Angry Anderson etc ride, have also featured on that motorcycle/evangelical crap TV show "Temporary Australians"

Nothing but quality here.

Honestly they are built as a LAMS bike for the type of rider who wants the tough guy HD image.  Harley are bringing out a 500cc LAMS approved bike sometime in the next year to capture that market.  Who will buy a Rock Spider then?  But unlike other chinese imports they seem to have someone behind the imports thats interested in the product.
