Seeing as our friend StuartG seems to have embraced the forum with a degree of enthusiasm it is probably time for a little education into the vernacular of the members from this great south land.

Firstly I will appreciate any assistance, corrections and additions from my fellows who have more knowledge and years of experience on here.

I believe it was Ed who started referring to us as "The Krew" and I was mistakenly blamed for the "Long Cut" when it was actually the Rickmeister who set us on this path when considering how to get to a particular destination. I certainly have been the culprit at times of adding "the road less travelled" when we have been considering a "Long Cut".

We can forgive Stuart's confusion when on only his second long ride with us we managed to combine both the "Long Cut" i.e. heading south for a few hundred kilometres when our destination was actually north, and "the road less travelled" by veering off a perfectly good highway finally heading in the right direction for a tour through the Warrumbungle Mountain Range and then west and north to Lightning Ridge.

Also there is some kompulsory homework reading for anyone who intends to participate in the local Hunter get togethers at this thread.
