It's gotten faster paced over the years, if you can call watching grass grow while men in zinc cream and hats pace about, faster, but still, it's a bloody boring game.

It was Australia who whitewashed the Poms 3 times.

In January while the Ashes were on, we had 3 visitors from Nebraska come to stay with us for a couple of days.

We ended up having to explain the whole game to them as it was on the TV at the pub where we went for dinner.  And I'm no fan of cricket myself but it doesnt bother me if its on.  Except for it polluting the only radio station i listen to for the entire summer.

I think I impressed on them the fact that we play with many countries and it's all good sport, but with the English it's war.
