One thing you could do to make a K75 more dirt worthy is run some dual sport tires like the Conti Trail Attack 3. Even better, it is a radial so it makes street riding better too!

If you want a more dirt road capable version, you already have a good template. There is no need to harpoon Moby Dick. Try to modify your current Brick like member jbt did his. That will keep you occupied for sure. Laughing

What jbt has done is what I have in mind (like it Very Happy ). He did a lot, even changed the rear. I was just wanting to do the front end and change the rear shock that is about 50mm longer. Yes, and change the tyre type. I have been looking around for a suitable front end but what the people are asking is more than what a K75c or Ultima would cost me. The R1000 that jbt used is very scarce so I looked at the GS650 or the 650 Dakar. Like the R1000, it has only one font brake disc.

I really like the K75 and find it ideal for the kind of dirt road riding I intend doing. It is nimble, low centre of gravity, I can right it, the seat is low that I have both feet firmly on the ground, not having to tip-toe. It's power to weight ratio is good for slow riding and good for covering long distance comfortably at speed. Then the shaft drive is a bonus too. No chain hassles. The motor and drivetrain is bullet proof, and with a few spare parts one can go into remote areas and should not be stranded. (Provided one has enough fuel .... lol!
