My name is Mikhail and I want to join your community owners bricks from BMW. I am one of you. Smile
I got one at auction in Japan, they own it a second season. I try to pay attention to it on the technical side, so his age are comparable with me. Smile
The problems will not, basically its advantages cover any cons! I hope to find friends here, salute!
I have very poor English, so Google translate for me! Smile

hi Mikhail, awesome pictures and bike, have a great fun riding this summer. We feel cold at +5 celsius, bugger that minus stuff. Though it can freeze her sometimes in mid winter.
We had a nice 15 degrees C today took my K bike for a ride up to TeHoro, the coffee was good.

Welcome Mikhail! Very Happy Great photographs. That's a really nice looking bike. I see it is a later 16 valvewith paralever and has a low seat option fitted.

There is a lot of information and expertise here to help you with any problems.

I wonder if you are our first member from Russia?!

Cheers
Dave

I installed the fairing from the K1100 bought from Germany, then tried to cheer up the colours using vinyl! Thought kind became more sports ...ahaha I guess. Very Happy no major problems except exhaust system joints and leaking seals on a fork. all this I did last season, and I repeat this again. Mad
I read a lot about the options for changing the exhaust system and generally about modifications of the bricks. But I once I said to myself "Hey stop sitting in the bushes, come and meet with these guys." ...the truth. Laughing cheers

fantastic bike must be one of the last K100s? I loved it as you imported it more than mods, but it still looks fantastic. What sort of money was it to buy from Japan, they seem to not do many kilometers before selling them. Mine was ex japan with only 18000km on the odometer, though the odometers were changed often under warranty according to the forum. I suppose you are keeeping the original fairing, I would. It must be nice to ride to across Europe. I see the Isle of Man TT is on the internet now iomtt.com have fun keep u posted on your fun with the K bike.

The original fairing I keep in the cupboard in the entrance hall, the House was a lot of noise about this. Very Happy
The photo shows what I got him with a run at 39 thousand kilometers. the previous owner was not a fan of peeking under the hood. for all the details, including accurate filters and hoses was stamped ' 91 year. I was afraid to press the brake. Evil or Very Mad
paid for it at 4200$. In our area it is not expensive. Wink

quite right, just to the east to go to the SUV. at the expense of rail and sea vessels open access to the Japanese market for less than Europe or America.

My brother rode from Vladivostoc across russia but had an accident part of the way across and had to come home. He was telling me what the roads were like. What he liked most were the very friendly people and now is wanting to go back to finish the trip and meet the friends he made again.

Welcome Mikhail. You are not first K from Russia. We already have VPutin from Moscow. I was in your country few times, Moscow, Niznji Novgorod, Grozni and some surroundings like Tiraspol, Alma Ata, Dusanbe. Every time by plane. My dream was to drive Russia but never had a chance for that long and probably very interesting journey through remote areas. You bought really nice bike. Enjoy

Thank you. If you're going to ride through eastern Russia, you can expect difficulty, poor roads (they soon for Enduro) and, in the case of breakage you will be very difficult to help. Almost all spare parts I order and wait about a month, and make myself work. Therefore go better with support in the form of accompanying van. In General, we have something to look at and there are people who will be happy to meet you! Hello from Russia! 112350

I don't mind at all but not being able to read it just makes me feel like I should at least be able to read some of a language other than English But no. I guess it comes from living in a very large country and we all speak the same language where in Europe there are probably 30 languages in a far smaller area.

Здравствуйте Михаил, I have made 9 trips to Russia but never east of Moscow. It's such a vast country to explore. You look like one happy man in the back of that truck seeing your bike Cool

I like the 1100 rs fairing on it and with the low seat you will be well protected. Good luck with it and enjoy!

Very nice bike. And I like the low seat. Because I like low seats.

How does it go with the RS bars?
That is a very interesting combination.

So, we in Russia May 1-2-3-4 traditional weekend. Sit at home and did not want to, we decided to make a trip to the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station. Grand building, surrounded by magnificent nature. So Saturday departure - 550 km one way, in the walking rhythm. Overnight at local tourist camp and returned Sunday. Went 3 motorcycles, BMW K100rs (my), BMW k1200rs, Honda steed 600. Few photos along the way. all loved it! And my girlfriend too! And today we have ... it snowed! Ahah, all white white! This is Russia, baby! Smile Smile Smile
