Hi  "K" people

My name is Tibor,just joined this forum.I live in the west of Ireland.
My bike is a K100 RT manufactured 1985,but first registered in Italy in 1986 that's why my number plate says 86.Current Km stand of the bike is 83824 Km.Looking forward to many more Kilometers/Miles  

Welcome to the forum and it looks like another one for the Irish Eccentrics. Look us up here, around 20 of us in different parts of the country and we do even meet up from time to time. We use Stradbally Fayre in Co Laois quite a lot but we try to include everyone.

When you can, pop up a few photos and if you add your VIN number to your signature anyone can answer any technical queries or problems you might have. Everyone is very helpful here and we all enjoy a little fun.

Enjoy the K......the long fork travel is good for those roads up in Mayo....

Italian name? Italian K100. So how did you end up in Mayo? Have you found that nice road from Crossmolina to Bangor to Achill to Westport to Louisburgh to Leenane to Clifden yet? You are spoilt for nice roads up there.

You must tell us more about the rebuild.

Great to see another K in the Irish Eccentric pack - you join an active and very sociable group. 

It takes a while to get your head around getting the most out of the site - there is so much of it, but it doesn't take long to master the basics. There is even a post telling you how to upload pictures/videos (try putting that in the search field) - if you're like me, you'll try it your own way first, make a mong of it and then read how easy it is to do properly!

I have found that visiting the forum has become something of a daily ritual even if I'm not after gleaning particular info or trying to share some experience of my own. 

Enjoy your riding on the west coast - in my experience, it never rains there and the roads are all quiet...fantastico - although I didn't get quite as far north as you and i expect next time I'm over it will be pay back time!

Just for info,I am Hungarian,bought the bike in Italy and registered it to Hungary,then jobwise moved out to Ireland, what can i tell more THE BIKE came with me and we are still a happy couple   (Don't tell my wife she will kill me!!) Have been nearly all corners of Ireland but still have to go for some nice places to see.In my personal experience is more rain in Mayo than any other county,but you know what? I am used to it,so won't scare me   .

Hungarian is even better. That is a nice drive from Budapest to Ireland and I like Hungary.

If you go to Donegal you can see more rain than in Mayo. We refer to that big town not far from you as Wetport, not Westport.

Since you have been to most corners of Ireland maybe we might end up meeting sometime over the summer. A few of us also like camping and will probably go to Nore Valley www.norevalleypark.com in Kilkenny in July or August and you would be very welcome to come over. We wont tell your wife......
