Hi all. I'm 61 and have been riding bikes since I was 16. Living at the west coast of Sweden. I bought my present K100 in 1990 and it has been a reliable companion over the years, though wife and kid sort of came in between me and Bike, only a couple of years after I bought it. Now, like me, the bike looks its age.

Some parts like the rear brake fluid container need replacement. That's how I found this forum. Unfortunately I do not have a garage to work with the bike so a full restoration is not planned.

Anyway, I really appreciate finding and exploring this forum.

Hi Kenso, many here have had the same experience with family commitments forcing them off the road for a few years but the joy of returning is worth experiencing.

Regarding the rear brake, is it the master cylinder pot that has cracked? They can suffer the effects of Ultra Violet decay and become brittle. If so it should be a straightforward repair even with a carage to work in.

Welcome to the forum.
