Hello my name is Stephen. Recently moved to Toronto. I became a BMW rider by fluke. My friends ride Harley's and one asked if I still had my motorcycle license. He said there is an old BMW covered up in the garden. Take it and see if you like it.
I pulled off the bike cover to fine a 1989 BMW K100 RS Special Edition. Such a nice bike. White and Blue with a black engine. Belly fairing and matching luggage. Checking the odometer it only had 6092 km. Charged the battery and hit the starter button. What a beautiful note it made as the engine roared to life. I completed the major service. Replaced two cracked fuel lines. Only problem came after 1500 km. Small oil leak from the oil pump. Removed it, updated the impeller. 3500 km now and the bike just gets better, or maybe I'm getting better at holding on. Time to fit new tyres.
