Bought a couple of spare engines at the weekend, which are younger than the one on my K. One engine is bust when the PO tried to drill out the exhaust studs and went in to the water channels. I bought them as they have the black casings and want to use these on my bike. What should I keep from the scrap engine, my thoughts are water pump which is definitely younger than mine, timing chain, covers, clutch plates. Can you guys think of any other useful bits?

check the out put shaft. 12 rivet?

Keep the good cylinder head and cams, they are expensive to repair and they dont make them any more.
