Dear All, I know it's a bit early, but some planning is required. My plan is:
- Leave East Maitland early on the Thursday morning.
- Hightail it down south, via Goulburn, Tarago, Bungendore, Queanbeyan, Cooma, Berridale and overnight in a pub at Dalgety (due S of Berridale, 18Km.)
- On Friday from Dalgety to Jindabyne, thence Thredbo on the Alpine Way to Khancoban, Cabramurra, Tumbarumba, Munderoo, Jingellic and onto Tallangatta for overnight stay at a pub.
- Saturday, head west to Albury, via Bonegilla, and then wend a way north to Narrandera, probably via Burrumbuttock, Walbundle, Lockhart. Kywong, Narrandera. Arriving there mid afternoon on the Saturday for drinks, yarns, drinks, feed, drinks, more yarns, more drinks.
I really would like to offer any Northeners digs at my joint on the Wednesday night, if required, BUT, Wednesdays are extremely awkward for my family situation, so discretion being the better part of valour, I can't.
I know it's early in the planning, but if any of you out there want to join the ride, it gives you a time to get yourselves sorted.
Remember...TWB's motto: Das Weg ist das Ziel!
