Dear All, I know it's a bit early, but some planning is required. My plan is:

- Leave East Maitland early on the Thursday morning.
- Hightail it down south, via Goulburn, Tarago, Bungendore, Queanbeyan, Cooma, Berridale and overnight in a pub at Dalgety (due S of Berridale, 18Km.)
- On Friday from Dalgety to Jindabyne, thence Thredbo on the Alpine Way to Khancoban, Cabramurra, Tumbarumba, Munderoo, Jingellic and onto Tallangatta for overnight stay at a pub.
- Saturday, head west to Albury, via Bonegilla, and then wend a way north to Narrandera, probably via Burrumbuttock, Walbundle, Lockhart. Kywong, Narrandera. Arriving there mid afternoon on the Saturday for drinks, yarns, drinks, feed, drinks, more yarns, more drinks.

I really would like to offer any Northeners digs at my joint on the Wednesday night, if required, BUT, Wednesdays are extremely awkward for my family situation, so discretion being the better part of valour, I can't.

I know it's early in the planning, but if any of you out there want to join the ride, it gives you a time to get yourselves sorted.

Remember...TWB's motto: Das Weg ist das Ziel!

Rickmeister.

I'm thinking of abandoning Guyra along with the Bellchen on the Wennnsdee and riding down to Sydney, staying overnight on the northern beaches, catching up with friends and then leaving Sydney on the Thursday and taking a convenient shortcut which will get me to Narranderra on the Sadderdee. Something like that. Might drag a bike or two along with me...( non-K though but good old friends) Maybe I'll try and catch up with Ulli on his travels somewhere around the snowy.
Nothing vague about that......

Schoorn.

Actually, it's 'Der Weg ist das Ziel.'

I think your way means you like rubber chickens slathered in vaseline whilst drinking steins of hefeweizen from between the breasts of a well-endowed fraulein.

Come to think of it, I'm gunna use your spelling from now on, and pray the last bit isn't just a dream.

Wink

Just made me think of a guy I knew years ago who had a farm in the Lockyer Valley and all he grew was onions so he called the farm Der Farterland.
