It's not just NSW the roads up here are just as bad. Some of the washouts near Warwick when me and Rossco came through last Tuesday. Fortunately we were able to ride along the top of the trucks that had fallen into them so we got home a bit earlier.

looking at installing a periscope ....and above fairing air intake here ......oh ! and leak proof boots ....those red flashy newbys struck a few big leaks i recon ....

I certainly won't throw it away Charlie, it can be welded and strengthened for sure.
You know, the idea of some sort of schnorkel for the air intake is really not a bad one for bush river crossings....or getting through Boonah on a Sunday arvo. Something removable maybe?

We would have had to use snorkles ourselves and not just the bikes.
