Welcome Mike. It must be hard to ride that standing up. Oh, is that a seat?
I do like your radiator cowling. Where is that from. Looks very 'fast' with those fins.
Do like I did. Join the forum at 46 and then wait 4 years to come back and start asking questions.

hope you get all your head can handle and then some from these forums.

Welcome, Mike! That is something special you've got there. Thanks for including the extra pictures as well. I'm sure many of our members will glean an idea or two from your custom creation. Did you add up how many kilos you stripped off from the beginning to the end product and how's it go, now that it's much lighter, in the handling department?

Thanks for the warm welcome. :-)

Changing all these things was not so difficult but we have many restrictions in Germany so the biggest part was to get all these into the papers of the bike.
For example the flash lights on the handlebar:
Motorbikes built after 1987 need to have rear flash lights too. My bike is from 1986 so i am allowed to have flashlights on the handlebar only BUT only if their approval mark (yes, every part needs to have such mark) is also and old one. In case i put flashlights with the actual approval mark on my bike i would need mount some rear flashlights too......

Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike welcome aboard great to have you with us and good to see the results of your work. One warning to all members is never leave your helmet low down like the first photo, I was out with a couple of friends on our bikes and one of them had left his helmet on the foot peg just like that and when we came back we found a dog with leg raised watering his helmet. A dog friend said the dog can smell the male scent and decides to overwhelm it with theirs.
Regards,
K-BIKE
