Hi Guys another one , if I remove the bulb monitoring relay will it make any difference to the running of the bike. The reason is I have cleaned all bulb contacts and brakes etc and still the dash warning light comes on. Ok hit brakes etc and it goes off but it still comes on when I go to start the bike every time. Regards Brian

must...not...be...sarcastic...must...not...be...sarcastic. Very Happy

Unless I am missing something...the unit (relay) is working as designed.

Key in. ignition on. Dash warning light comes on. Tap the front and rear brake, light goes off. Go for a ride.

Finish your ride. Stop bike and turn off ignition.

Every time you restart the bike, the warning light comes on until you tap/use the brakes, then light goes off. If it doesn't, then you have a fault.

A bit like the charge indicator light which is lit with the key on and goes off as required when the engine starts and revs rise. ChecK. All good.

You'd really love the early ABS check light which requires the bike move a few feet before engaging with a 'clink shink' (Firsttimer: what just broke and can I trust my brakes!?) then finally the bright red light goes off.
