Hi all,

Just bought a '91 K100lt as a runabout due to my r850r going through a long run mechanical issues.

Hello from Cambridgeshire 379042_10150578370262952_748352951_10989191_720857849_n

I'm going to keep it stock for a while, while I beat t'other bike into submission, then will probably yank the fairings and plastics off. Might go for some k1100 forks too, but that's a way off.

Cheers

H

Thanks, I must admit not expecting to much before taking it out for a test ride, but wow, loved the thing. Only had it for a week, so still getting used to it's little quirks and need to check a few things. Tyres seem very senstive to getting pressure right, otherwise they are a bit squirrely, and the gear box is very... BMW.

Welcome aboard hitmanh. That's a nice clean looking LT. You've hit on some common observations right off the bat. Tires that seem to have lots of tread but are old or certain manufacturers can be squirrely. Lots of info here on that topic.

No idea OG, that pic was taken the day I picked the bike up from the previous owner... something sporty is all I can remember.

No worries... I'm just always curious what other bikes people have in their garages to keep their Brick's company...

Ah, I see, well, I have a boxer to keep the K company... maybe they will breed and create a triple? ^^
