Hello all members! I have owned my K100RS around two years and found your forum mainly due to rainy Finnish late autumn. It was raining like a hell and I was keeping my flying brick on center stand in front of my house. During one night it was raining like hell and early morning I noticed that bike was fell down due to soft ground caused by heavy rain. I was thinking that I'll have protection bars and nothing serious should not be occured but unluckily my wife was parking a car too close to my bike, upper fairing was touching the car bumper and of course, it was broken. During next week I was trying to search undamaged upper fairing from Internet, but I haven't found it yet. Luckily I found your forum and hope that I will help me to keep old flying brick on the road as long as possible My next action is to try repair by using fiberglass to fix fairing somehow and enjoy next summer, if no better solution found before our next driving season starts after 3-4 months.

its a sad fact the fiberglass does crack durring such events ....but is usually repairable ,,,just takes time and patience , but unfortunatly new paint as well ....

Welcome to the forum Sepvall. I too am interested in fairing repair but I haven't started yet. I will be interested to see how you get on. Please post pictures if you do it.
