Saw this on Temu $33.59 Au. This might be a possible replacement for the early K. Modification would required, how much who knows?

Another option (for 86+ bikes) would be to tap a digital ohmmeter into the yellow wire from the fuel level sender.

0-ish is full and 108 ohms is empty.

I bought one of their (whoever makes them) voltmeters to try. It was dead within three weeks - the digital display had faded to almost invisibility.
