Folks, thanks for having me, while I’m new here, I’ve owned and ridden various BMW’s since the 70’s, including an R69S, R100RS X2, K100RT, K1100LT, R1100GS and currently 2 x K100RS, a 1984 model and 1989 K100RS SE ABS1. I also own a lot of other bikes (Triumph, BSA, Ducati x2, Harley Sportster x 2 and a lot of classic Japanese bikes from the ‘70’s)

I’ve recently bought the 1984 K100RS as a parts bike for my SE, the ‘84 had a light toasting when a fuel line split, but was quickly extinguished, just leaving a scorched injector wiring harness and crusty hoses, and various trim parts. I won’t go on about it here, but will post separately as the “light restoration” continues. Anyway I’m looking forward to reading all about your bikes. Cheers, Terry.
