The axle is not centered on the fork tube. What is the offset? I have a set of forks to measure, but I don't find any way to get an accurate (within a millimeter) measurement. There is no way (to me, anyway) to a a datum line to measure from. I have Googled it but I don't think that number is generally noted in bike specifications.

You could look up the published trail and rake figures for K-bikes, measure the offset on the top yoke and calculate it from that - the fork offset figure you are looking for would be the 'missing' amount.
Sounds like it'd be a useful thing for you to do anyway?
