hallo i've a problem.
i have bmw k 100 rs 4v 1991
when i start the bike start fan too and don't stop (only fo a moment random).
i've changed the sensor (new sensor).
i checked wiring and fan relè.
nothing.
have you solutions!

What methods did you use to check the wiring and fan relay, Leo?

i checked the sensor with how water.
i checked wiring with multimeter for contacs
i checked relay in this method: with bateery 12v i put + on 86 pin and - on 87 pin and i see the click. if relay did the click it' ok.
on my bike this is all ok and i have the same problem with fan.
i want check others relay and the temperature sensor.

Did you get a 2v or 4 v temperature sensor? Look the same but they are not and not interchangeable.

hallo i've purchased ah other used motronic. i put it on my k 100 rs 16v but the fan running constantly.
some ideas?

Try swapping the fan relay with one of the other little black relays, like the horn relay. All 5 of those little black relays are the same.

The fan relay is triggered when the Motronic sends a ground signal via the blue/yellow wire. See if the blue/yellow wire is grounded when the Motronic is unplugged. It shouldn't be. If it is then the blue/yellow wire has shorted to ground somewhere. Not likely but possible.

ciao Leo, sono un tuo concittadino ed ho avuto gli stessi problemi. Sostituito la centralina tutto è tornato alla normalità. Ci si sente ...

ciao,
ho appena finito di fare tutti i controlli e sono arrivato alla conclusione che non può essere altro che la centralina.
il dubbio mi era sorto poichè ho già acquistato altra centralina ma il problema è rimasto per cui anche grazie alla tua precisazione sono giunto alla conclusione che con la mia solita fortuna ho acquistato una centralina difettosa.
grazie ancora e a buon rendere per quel che posso.
