No gasket just the rubber boot the arrow points to.

The boot should be part # 23131338731 and the clamp that holds it 23131241872
If the boot is not cut or creaked the the clamp may just be loose.

This service bulletin could be relevant concerning your leaking clutch boot, Bernie, depending upon the location of the leak from the boot.

Hi Leitch,
Just seen your message thank you very much.
I spoke to my mate who was working on my bike after i posted and i think he must have sorted out the oil leak as when we did speak he did not mention it again after i told him that is was not a seal problem.
Thing.
So i will ask tomorrow but think he may have found the problem.
Thanks again.

Thanks gorio,
Hopefully my friend has sorted it. The bike has not run in a good while.
So it may have been just that will speak to him tomorrow.
Thanks again

Hi volador,
I have no idea mate must be a trick of the light.
My mate never mentioned any white stuff to me.
Maybe at the speed he is building my trike he has had too much of a big line and it is all falling from his nose
I am joking he dont do drugs well not that one anyway.
I will ask him what it is but maybe not right now as it 01:00 am.
Thanks

Hi volador i certainly will.
I am going to his at the weekend and hopefully i can get a few pictures of how the trike frame connects to the k 100 as it is not easy as half the frame is engine.
I know a starting point is from the now redundant center stand.
He sent me a cheeky mock up picture the other day so here it is.

Going to build a old wood pick up truck style with back door as a ramp for electric wheelchair.
Axel is a BMW 7 series E38 and wheels are 3 series alloys.
Got them both for a bargain price of £230.00 so well happy as both in good condition.
Hoping to get some nice fat tires on it.
Building just using my mobility benefit’s thats what it is for anyway but build will be done bit by bit as i can afford the next part.
It also helps i have a great mate who i have done the biker life still for over 30 years and he is a great self taught fabricator in between his main job which is nothing to do with engineering or bikes.
As we learn if anyone else need’s any info on building a trike from a k bike feel free to ask.
Would like to repay some of the help i have been given on here.

It's off-topic but keep an eye on ebay and watch for a 50-amp alternator (sometimes listed as a 'police' alternator). It's a drop-fit; you just need to change the block connector at the alternator end for an 8mm ring terminal and a 6.5mm spade terminal. That will give you a lot of electrical headroom for heated clothes/extra lights etc.. Don't pay more than £/amp - I've bought three for far less than 50 quid each. Visually, the instant difference is that the OEM 33-amp alternator has an external cooling fan, so if you see an alternator advertised as from a K100 (LT, most likely) and there's no visible fan on it, post a link up here and one of us will confirm fitment. OTOH, as you're using an LT as the donor, it may already be fitted with one. Post a piccy of the back of the alternator showing the wiring connector(s).
