1 Side stand switch Sat Apr 17, 2021 5:34 am

I’ve lowered my K1100 RS using a RAM suspension and also lowered the front fork 5 mm.
This meant that my side stand was too long, so it was shortened about 3 years ago.
I finally got round to lower the center stand. For the past 3 years I’ve had to role the back wheel up on a board (about 4-5 cm high) in order to be able to get the bike on the center stand.
After this job I can ones again get the bike on the center stand with out using a board.
Only minus is both stands do not rest in the original rubber mounts but I’ve worked my way around that.
Any way after taking the old center stand off and putting the new on, I somehow managed to place the side stand switch in a wrong position.
It needs a small press with a screwdriver (just a gentle one and only 1 mm or less) to make contact so there is made fuel pressure.
I’ve google from here to the horn og Africa and back again a million times but the closest hit I get is “how to bypass the switch”. I already did this (so I can ride until I figure out what is wrong).
I tried with contact spray etc. but doesn’t help.
I’m pretty sure the contact is placed wrong. Maybe it needs to be on the other side of the arm on the side stand.
Any way since I can’t post pictures here, there is no way I can show you how the contact is placed.
If any one who with out any doubt can see what is wrong from my picture I would appreciate contact information so I can send a picture.
Or a link to a picture of the contact and the side stand arm, that moves the contact.
