Smashed my thumb while toiling on my K1300GT just trying to get the bloody front wheel off the pile, stripped an important (aren't they all?) thread on one of my K1100RS trans mounts, let the smoke out of the chassis wiring loom on Big Block while removing the tank for maintenance, cut the top of three knuckles wrestling with the engine replacement in my K1200RS!

I'm offing the lot for a simple, well-rounded K75. I might even put carbies & points on it, or that tres kewl injection system from BSK. Oh, nuts! It only fits K100 & K1100. Back to where I started.

Never mind, I'm still getting a K75 and will NEVER have to work on a motorbike again. Best damned motorbike BMW ever made. Jeesh.
I'm selling all of my other K bikes and getting a K75! 652573

Good call, the more I look at my K100 on the bike ramp waiting to be overhauled, the more svelte and proportionate the '75s seem to be.
Le-Jetronic is cool btw, its annerlog - up there with Rayban Aviators and bakelite 'phones!
