Hello!

Can’t find the previous thread somebody posted selling a rear master cylinder rebuild kit for a K.
Anybody got a better idea what to do?

Can somebody find me the threat here? I couldn’t  find it anymore.
My is dripping and I tried heeling it by talking to it but it didn’t help :-)

Go to reply #32 on the attached thread.  I will never bother screwing around with rebuild kits for rear master cylinders again.  As I recall, the whole retrofit was under $25 and the hardest part was finding the adapter for the reservoir hose so I could use the OEM reservoir.  Installation took a couple hours.

I have about 7,000 miles on the Chinese part and it works great, better than the OEM cylinder ever did.  Very positive pedal feel with lots of power.

Chocolate I am running the same master cylinder as .75 with no problems for nearly 12 months. I had to replace my hose, but once done it is a cheaper easier solution. It cost me $13.33 Au ea and at that price I carry a spare in stock. It's cheaper to replace the whole cylinder than put a kit in it. And as .75 stated it has a better feel.

Hy @MartinW I How is the weather ?  have checked the link with good info but there isn’t a link with the break pump from AliExpress or I don’t find it.
A pump that really fits and has been tested to be good.

Has anyone found a replacment for the front master cylinder? Mine has been crying for a while and will not even respond to threats of violence





OK, I just found the other thread. $200 and seals will be $10 next time

I've had a talk to the owner who appears to be a nice guy. apparently the only other place in OZ that sleeves cylinders is in SA.
