I have stuck a K100 Damper Unit on the 1100 and dropped the trees down the forks by the same amount about 30mm.

Now It's a Hernia initiating experience lifting it onto the Centerstand. I have a worn out K75 stand with the bend legs that I have cut those bends off. I am now to V cut and weld on a plate to act as the base for each leg and put the tang back on so I can deploy it. But I am aware of a difference between the 1100 stand and the 100 or 75 stand. Which Leg needs to be moved out to ensure the stand will work on the 1100. I cant figure it out. Help Please.

The legs are now only 7 inches long so maybe they wont even reach the tyre but I need urging on or maybe reassurance that when I stick her up on the saw horses and pull the 1100 stand off the 75 one will fit on and not rub or cause concern anyplace under there.

Left.  Actually a K75 center stand will work but the tire clearance on the left is very small. (With the skinnier K1100LT wheel/tire.)

Thankyou for the reply, The left one with the deployment tang on it. Good I can go measure off of the right on the 1100 and make sure the 75 has a similar clearance. Little Brother is a welder he can fix much for me. But to drop all that into his place and have it welded and return home to see it not fit right would be way too much extra work. I'll take that detail over to him and we'll cook up the replacement. Thanks again.

K1100LT rear tyre is a 140/80/17 wheel, it should work.
K1100RS rear tyre is a 160/60/18 wheel, as far as I know it won't work due to tyre width.......

I use both the LT and RS rear wheels but have K1100 stand.

I run a 150/70-17 on my K75 that has a K75 center stand. (So I can run radial tires.)  The left center stand clearance is very tight but it doesn't rub.

I did look at using a 150 tyre and it definitely looks like it will fit but the clearance suggests some 150s will fit but some may not.

The only reason I haven't is that I have beenvery happy with BT45 and both the K1100LT and the K100RS are getting new ones all round next week.

Have you ever tried radials on your K11LT?  They make a world of difference and the bike feels much more planted.  Bridgestone T31 are great radial tires.

I may do, but the thing here is cold wet weather in winter and I ride all year. I have used 2 sets of tyres since October

Just an update to the lowered K1100lt with the K100 Shock fitted. I've just done a five day tour of NSW, going up the New England and over the Bruxner then down the Summerland Way and Up the Gwyder Hwy. Bike goes great with the only issue to show itself being the Shock doesn't bottom before the tyre picks up the Rear Fender rear half. Every big dip I hit delivered a grad and the smell of burnt rubber. So anyone swapping out a K1100 shock for the K100 shock would be well advised to not load your bike for a big long week long ride camping gear etc. Other than that it has performed fine around town and local rides for Coffee with just me on it.
I also broke a screen spar somewhere up the New England on day two. So had to do the ride with it right down. However I have a spare bike with one on it and I have spent the day raiding it for that spar and the brass thread and lock nut plus the spring that went missing with the other bits. Also I have returned her to the K1100 shoch and centrestand as I have been basically on it most of the week and it's time to stick it back to stock and carry on riding. I had initially lowered it to allow myself easier on and off leg swings, but this last week has me used to throwing a leg over it. So here goes back to stock.
I took the topbox off and used that space to strap a OZtrail Biker Swag and a small wanderer sprung cot. I also took a small 3 person dome tent along. Whilst it said three people it would appear the people are all shorted than me. I ended up sleeping across the tent with my feet and head pushing the tent wall out bulging where I lay. Funny to experience the I'm too tall for the tent event each night.
5 nights away up one road over another then down the coast and back up the mountains then way over the middle of NSW to run down from Delungra to Tamworth what ever that road is known as.
Next holiday may be too hot to run the Waterfall way and the Oxley back up the mountains but with any luck I'll fit it in soon.
