Hi, my name is Ian Hutchison, I am 58 years old living in Wigan, Lancashire, England, with my wife and two daughters.
I have been riding motorcycles since 1979. My first machine was a Yamaha FS1E, followed by Honda Superdream 250NA, followed by a Honda 500CX EC. Then in 1989 I bought my first BMWK100 RS 4 valve brand new, followed a year later by a BMW K1. I lost my job and sold my K1 only to buy another a year later.
I sold my K1after about a year and stayed off motorcycles for about 15 years before buying a used 1990 K100 RS 16 valve. I have been riding this machine for 13 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Been on winter rallies, abroad a couple of times. The last couple of years I have been too busy to ride it much, I made one 400 mile journey to and from the Mosquitoe museum where I met up with an old mate.
COVID 19 has prevented other meetings up to now but I intend to get out riding much more.
